Fooled In Sunday

Sunday was much like Saturday in many regards. I woke up early but rolled around in hopes of poaching another few hours of sleep. There was no quick breakfast. The computer was the first order of business. But I went to the basement mid-morning with a partial bag of chips and a Dr Pepper in tow. I watched the movie 10 Years to start my day and got my laundry in the machine. When that was done I had an ice cream sandwich and two pints of water. I returned to the basement to watch something else. I happened upon a film called Words on Bathroom Walls. I found myself emotionally invested in the story. It was slow moving but not slow enough for me to lose interest. When one of the turns happened I found myself reacting a lot more than I expected. Again, I don’t want to spoil anything but it really made me think differently after the film. I was impressed. I changed loads finally and went upstairs for another two pints of water. My lack of vigilence the previous day had me feeling dehydrated and I sought to rectify that. When I was in the kitched I considered eating again but decided to grab a picture of the food board for your perusal instead. I’ll have to add more checks beside the items on the to do list as some seem to have become recurring. In terms of food you can see that I was mildly successful. I wasn’t able to come up with something for Tuesday and ate some chips instead of a real meal.

That memory must have triggered something in me because I grabbed a bag of the same flavour I’d had on Tuesday and took it downstairs for a dinner substitute. I took it in a bowl to make sure that I wouldn’t go too hard with it. I also warmed up a Stouffer’s Bistro Crustini Chicken Parmesan panini and brought it down with me. That was my dinner, simple and easy. I watched a couple episodes of Superstore and then capped my evening by watching Honey for the first time ever. It was not a fantastic film by any means but was a neat trip back to that time. It came out around the time I was heading off to school. I spent the next hour listening to a podcast in my bed and thinking back to those times. That was it, that was the day. Laundry was cleaned and dried but left in the machine and that was about it. I watered the plants at some point, this has to be done daily in such violent heat. Otherwise I just ate and pooped like a farm animal with Netflix.
