Stressful Tuesday
Sleep lingered on later than expected today and I was in a fix for breakfast. The big meeting started at eight and I needed to get a bit more prepared before that. So as a result I found myself having a pretty unorthodox breakfast. I knocked back a trio of Mother’s homemade zucchini muffins and a small dish of Tugboat’s Gutfill Gumbo. That was a strange flavour combination. I didn’t hate it though, especially cause I ate them in succession, so less of a mixing I guess.
I was in the meeting early with all appropriate files open and I was ready to participate in any and every way I could to the discussion. As it was we talked about dozens and dozens of soybean varieties, reviewing their performance and attributes, trying to figure out which products would bring a performance improvement to Canada’s growers. We broke for a short lunch break that made me glad that I had some Gutfill Gumbo on hand for a quick and easy meal. It was a very long day that ended at half six for me. The end of the day was consumed by preparation for a day of other meetings tomorrow. Dinner was more Gutfill Gumbo. It was too handy and I didn’t feel like making the chicken chimichangas that were on the board. I was planning to make a burrito filling and put it in the spring rolls or something along those lines. After the day I had, and the tension that was building around this time of year I just didn’t have it in me. So if you’re tracking it, that’s essentially four straight meals of Gutfill Gumbo. I’ve never strung them together like that before. I wonder what this will do to my insides? I guess we’ll find out, and I’ll be sure to share.
