So its late, we just got back from the party. The dance was a huge success, people went crazy for it. We managed to get it on tape this time around. In tradition of 80 Cole road parties there was a theme. This time we all had to dress as a rockstar to get in. I was pretty fun. We all did a decent job of looking like someone. Others who showed up late and drunk didn't bother. We left early and walked home for an hour. It was a long walk. After we left though 911 was called and someone had to leave on a stretcher. We don't have any details yet other than apparently everyone was alright. There was considerable narcotic use and alcohol consumption. I did neither. Overall I would say that it was a good time for all. I foolishly volunteered for work tomorrow. Might not make it in for morning. I'm shooting for one ish. I'm regretting that now. Either way.....the party was good, work is ok, and school is lame. Assignments and midterms got old in high school. It will be good to get done with all this nonsense. Anyways, hadn't posted in awhile so I figured I'd toss out a bone. Over and out.

I realize it has been a while. That's ok, I've been really busy. I have school, full course load which is pretty heavy. I have social scene which includes a choreographed dance for an upcoming party. I have 3 quizzes a week for school and two midterms coming up next week. And on top of that I start my job this week. I was out of town this past weekend and the one before that was the kegger. I'm starting to feel the burn a bit for the first time in my university career. Not really though, I'm resilient. Oh ya and throw hockey into the mix. Our first game was Sunday at 10 pm. The next one is Thursday at midnight. Good times? We'll see. We got it handed to us 5-1 in the first game; and by it I of course mean out asses. This weekend as mentioned I was in Toronto for a while to support Dave and Mike in running a half marathon. It lead to some wacky adventures including Mike's first visit to Hooters. I asked him (a vegetarian) if he would like to split some chicken wings with me. He responded with a. "ya, sure." I then replied that chicken was meat, to which he replied, "Ya, whatever." Just goes to show that your mind can wonder. I had a good visit with family too while I was there. All in all I think it was an alright time.....until just before the race when we realized the two dummies weren't going to make it in time and I offered to take their stuff so they could run to the start. That was above Queen St. and the race started at the Convention Centre. That was a long way to haul three bags at 7 am on a Sunday. I guess sleeping on a hardwood floor with only a blanket sucked too. Either way, I'm trying to keep above water here so I'll sign it off with a toodles.

The keg party is over but the keg saga rages on. We purchased two quarter kegs in a cost saving move which saved us over $50. The problem was that the drinkers didn't perform. They only drank one quarter keg and maybe 10 glasses out of the other. On the bright side we nearly covered our cost, so for the price of one quarter keg we get to drink two. The moral of the story is that we got a free 2.5 cases of beer. The problem however is to drink said beer. With only two drinkers and both having a new-found distaste for beer at the moment we're in a pickle. If you like beer and are in the Guelph area please stop in and drink our free beer.
In other news the party was a success. We met new people and saw some old faces. Mike "The Sexy Bitch" Ward was able to bring over 10 beautiful exchange student females; mainly from Scandinavia. The first year lads also brought in a number of people. All in all it was a good time for all. Cousin John finally made an appearance in Guelph and was so smitten that he stayed an extra night. The good times continue on the 30th when our crew takes its show on the road to 80 Cole where we'll be performing at the Rockstar Wine and Cheese. Who we go as is inconsequential as we'll be riots either way.
The first week of school breezed by and few classes were skipped. There were some casualties especially on Friday when the rain flowed free from the sky like water flowing in a babbling brook. Pizza Hut buffet was enjoyed for the first time in at least 8 months and the pre-party errands were run. Brown was there but not for the party as he was shafted by work. On his birthday he was required to work from 3 until 11:30 at night and then had to work at 5:30 the next morning. He of course overslept but to the benefit of Annie who was able to get his attention during a diabetic attack. It's good that she did because we would have assumed that she was sleeping and left her until noon. She would have long since died. The paramedics were called and all was well again. That was the one hiccup in what otherwise was an excellent weekend.
Task for this week is to acquire cable. Hope all is well our there in TV Land. Hat's off to the Wolfman.

So our internet is now working and our file sharing is up and running. The nerd just left here. The nerd of nerds on site. He did a good job. Some people's computers were clogged chock full of viruses (Dave, Katie) so it took longer than expected. Dave's computer is still infected with one and Katie's with god knows how many....more than 30 at least. So until that is cleared up I think I'll keep my firewall up here. I'm going to now venture to install the Mayor's former palm pilot on my computer since Dave cannot due to other circumstances. The big party is heating up, the kegs have been ordered many guests have confirmed, it should be a good time. That goes down on Friday in case you weren't lucky enough to get one of the hundreds of emails we sent out at random. School has begun and the routine is shaping up. This should be an okay semester with no overly overpowering courses. That can mean one of two things. One, I have no idea what I'm in for or two, I've gotten smarter at some point. I'm leaning towards number one cause I don't feel smaller at all. Well supper is warming up and the temperature is winding down so I'll leave it at that.

A new wave afternoon post here. Mike Ward moved in successfully within a half hour of arriving and his mom was gone before that. We helped him get stuff up and he's working on a setup. His house mate is causing some drama but its too weird to get into. Ya, if its too weird for me then just imagine. Okey dokey smokey. So here I am again waiting for something. Not the love of my life this time either. I'm waiting for the landlord to come and install my new ceiling fan which I realized yesterday doesn't have a light on it like I thought it did. That really unfortunate because that means that I'll have no overhead light in my room. I think I can manage but it is a bit annoying. I'll have good air flow though and I'll take that any day over light. I lived a basement for 14 years of my life. I can handle dark, ghost free dark. Don't even get me going. I'm home alone now. The others are gone shopping. I'm enjoying the solitude. Its been a bit of a mad house here for the last week or so. School starts tomorrow. Man, what a rush, I mean drag. Its less time than work. I have five classes, 4 or which have some kind of lab or seminar associated with them. Many of the labs are in the same rooms as the classes so I don't know what that's about. I guess I'll see this week. Probably get back to y'all later in the week. Inquire about the kegger or RSVP if you know the deal. Later all.

Yes, I'm at it again. Today is the day that Mike Ward appears as well as Rich and Kevo. Big day, big day. Hopefully Mike gets here in good time so we can do something tonight. I recently found out that our friend Joanne is having a party that I didn't know about until this morning. She's hosting a BBQ that we're planning on attending but the party attendance will of course depend on a number of factors. Dave is gone for the day and so is Brown. This leaves just me and the girls. It could be a long day today with no big plans in the works. I've been getting ready for school which at this level involves learning where all the forms for various things are to go and what you need to spend on what. The days of a new highlighter and pencil are long over for me. I miss the days when we used to trade off the junk our parents bought us for the junk of someone else. Those were the good days, when nothing mattered and no careers were on the line. The drama? Well Annie is filling out med school applications and that has me thinking which, in my experience, is never a good idea. Anywho, back to my book on pirates, I hope to finish it before stupid school reading dominates my intellectual palate. Alas I bid adieu to all and to all a good night.

Well it finally happened. My chair finally came. Its a leather one from Staples. Its an upgrade due to the material that its made from as well as the fact that its armless which allows for easier movement in my room. Its also smaller in the base for added floor space. I like it and my parents paid for it. I moved my sister yesterday. I had to borrow a lawn mower from work and cut her lawn that hadn't been cut all summer. I ended up doing it twice and there was much sweat involved; especially after raking it all. I was not impressed but the chair more than diverted my hostilities. Later I returned to Guelph and watched the 40-year old virgin with family and introduced my father to Quizno's subs. He will likely be a repeat customer. They are supposed to leave tomorrow and take that scurge to women young Buhold with them. His reign of terror will soon end. And by reign of terror I mean his "frosh" week. You see he was just here for that, he's actually still in high school. He got his money's worth. Either way, things are beginning to settle down here and routines are starting to establish. Let's hope all goes well.

So here is the first update. Saturday was indeed a big day with Dave et al. returning also. Wade provided a good visit in the afternoon and new WB et al. provided good times also. The boys got moved in early which avoided yesterday's circus. We left them to their devices for the most part. Last night we went to the pep rally. It was enjoyable. As per usual the OV Boogie was the highlight. Well the real highlight of the night was the streaker who dashed across the soccer field. That guy had great speed. I think and hope that he got away with it. It was pretty awesome. We came home and watched some more of season one of Scrubs. I enjoy that program. J.D. what will he think of next. Anyways, today has been spent cleaning up and getting ready for school and before that my parents 3 day visit. That's all I can come up with for now, Phillips out.

Early Saturday. Looks like its going to be a good day today weather wise. I should be busy for most of it. Well the morning is pretty much wide open. I'll use that time to try and find a method of downloading individual songs. My Kazaa days are over. And my new methods are only for complete albums. I thought about getting whole albums just for one song but that seems like overkill. I am usually a fan of overkill but when it wastes needless memory on my computer then I usually take the light method. Wasting memory in my brain has never been a problem for me though, oddly enough.
So the job is done. I gave back all the stuff, shook the hands and moved on into obscurity. I like obscurity, it frees up so much more time. School will try to take up some of my time but my class attendance aversion should remedy that slightly. I don't know what I'll do to pass the time, probably what I always do.....video games, pointless and cheap books, and of course the infamous imagination games I play. I once won the Super Bowl, Stanley Cup, and World Series all in one afternoon. It was a busy day for me. Only one was on a video game, the others were in my mind. I'm not crazy you know, I just have an active imagination. That's why I get freaked out by ghosts so bad. If you put me a dark room after watching a scary movie and its quiet in there; I'll probably lose my mind.
Speaking of ghosts; Brown and I had a good scare this week. Two days ago I noticed the microwave was out from the wall and it had been unplugged because the time was about an hour behind. That night Brown also reported that he fell asleep with his fan spinning and his light still on. Later in the night he woke up and it was all off. I know I didn't do it. He knows he didn't do it. That just leaves Villnerd but why would he do it. It doesn't make sense. So the night we realized we had to stay up much later than usual as were we a bit freaked out. We had a little chit chat in the living room with all the lights on. Anyone who knows me knows how cheap I am and that I would never turn on an unnecessary light. I don't have shares in hydro. So either way it was weird.
So back to my busy day. Brown's parents are coming in the afternoon. I am to receive them and help them unload a freezer and then direct them to anywhere they want to go. The big thing though is that Wade...one of my most faithful readers is going to be dropping in. It will be a short visit but it will be good to see the Wade. He is truly a world traveler. We usually only get one chance a year to see him in all his glory. Sometimes Christmas, sometimes on his way to the east coast where he gets his knowledge from. It should be a huge afternoon. Not sure when Dave is coming down, could be today, probably tomorrow.
I made this post pretty long to keep readers busy for a few days as I will be busy with parents and people moving around so I might not get another good chance. I will likely shoot up some daily updates or something (something does not stand for heroin or any other illegal narcotic). That's about all I have for now, keep reading sports fans.

Just a short one before I fade off to sleep here. Just passing the time while a certain computer operation finishes up here. Something I've been doing a lot of. I'm full too. We had a great meal. Brown and Laura cooked some sweet spaghetti and meatballs. I was going to take a picture of it. It was so appetizing that we had to say grace. Mike Ward also called. Watched an Ashton Kutcher movie with the others. Also bought and read the new Maxim. Good afternoon, more to come about job finish 2005. Over and out.

I'm back. Another month, another post. Tomorrow is my last day of work. I will have completed another successful contract. Today we went golfing as a celebration of the summer. We played eighteen holes. I don't know if I'd ever done that. I shot an 88 after falling apart on the last three holes. I shot 7-6-7 and 17 was a par three. High Oh! I thought I would try that spelling on. But either way the three of us had a blast. We played a course just outside of Cambridge. The great white V was gone when I got home. He just kind of showed up for the night. Actually he pretty much used us for free lodging. And by pretty much I of course meant totally. We didn't mind though. He had the class to remember that he owes me money for the pizza we enjoyed. I liked that. I like when people pay me money. I like to have my money, I don't like when other people have it. So the job is done, Villnerd moved on. Not much else to report on other than the visitation of the Mayor yesterday. He stopped in to pick up Dave and then head north. While he was here though we went to the school and intimidated some people into letting us put a fridge into Phil's new room in the residence known colloquially as "south". I, of course, lived there as did Dave and his parents before him. The legacy continues. Well I have to get back to it here. "It" will be left up to your imagination although my task is not self-gratifying you perverts. Peace out.
